anupallavi
vandE guNa SIla vaibhava rUpa
uraga Sayana dASarathE (sandEhamu)
I salute (vandE) You - O Lord of virtuous (guNa) disposition (SIla)! O Lord of Magnificient (vaibhava) form (rUpa)! O Lord reclining (Sayana) on SEsha – serpent (uraga)! O Son of King daSaratha (dASarathE)!
O My Lord! Why do You doubt me?
caraNam

nara hari SrI tyAgarAja sarasa SrI rAma (sandEhamu)
While all (ella) great (ghana) celestials (surulu) (surulella) extol (pogaDaga) You that (ani) You protected (kAcitivi) (kAcitivani) gajEndra - the King (rAjuni) of elephants (kari),
You also protected (kAcitivi) the great (vara) demon (dAnava) hero (SUruni) who is (aina) a worshipper of Lord Siva – Sambhu (SAmbahavuDu) (SAmbhavuDaina);
O Man (nara) Lion (hari)! O Lord SrI rAma! O Lord who is sweet (sarasa) to this tyAgarAja!
O My Lord! Why do You doubt me?
Notes –
Variations -
1 – kari rAjuni – giri rAjuni : As ‘giri rAjuni’ does not seem to be correct, ‘kari rAjuni’ has been adopted.
2 – surulella – surulellaru.
Comments -
3 - SAmbhavuDaina dAnava SUra – The person to whom this refers is not very clear. It is not ‘mucukunda’ because he was a king in the lineage of ikshvAku. It cannot be ‘rAvaNa’ because of the word ‘kAcitivi’ (protected).
This kRti is listed in the category of ‘doubtful’ in the book ‘Compositions of Tyagaraja’ by Sri TK Govinda Rao, which means it is doubtful whether this kRti was indeed composed by SrI tyAgarAja.

Thank you for the wonderful content.
Are you sure that your transliteration scheme is correct?
I think 'z' is equivalent to the tamil/malayalam "zha" (as in yaazh the musical instrument) and not to be confused with 'S' as in Sivan or Sree.
Dear Suresh,
'z' for श is correct as per HK Transliteration Scheme for Devanagari Script. This is not to be mixed with Tamil/Malayalam 'zh' for ழ/ഴ . Please visit http://webapps.uni-koeln.de/tamil/ However, I have modified the HK Scheme in latter posts. Now, I use 'S' for श
