This episode is not found in vAlmIki rAmAyaNa. However, as per the following website – quoting periyAzhvAr's tirumozhi (1.3.10) (319) - rAma and sItA were playing chess (caturanga) in which rAma lost. Consequently sItA, as a punishment, tied the Lord with jasmine garlands. This is stated by AnjanEya to sItA at lankA as a proof of his being the messenger of SrI rAma. AnjanEya - Messenger

Dear Sri Govindan
C – 'gelucuTa cEta ' - In Tamil you have given the meaning as வென்ற
கையுடன். This can cause a little confusion although கையுடன் means immediately after winning. Does not cEta literally carry the meaning 'because'.

Dear Sri Govindaswamy,
In Tamil, like Telugu - cEta, 'கையுடன்' is a normal usage to mean 'immediately'. Therefore, I did not use any other word for 'cEta'. This, in my opinion, is more a colloquial usage and may not be able to find in the dictionay.
Regards,
V Govindan
