Why wouldn’t You always protect me at least from now on? What kind of dearth (of compassion) is this?
At whose else behest legends, epics, various sciences and histories were born? How else the idea to give away her husband as a gift occurred to satyabhAma? Who else is there for ascetics and self restrained other than You? You protected prahlAda in this very Earth by relieving his worry!
I have placed full faith in You.

² – satyabhAma – the reference here is to the story of satyabhAma – wife of kRshNa. In order to keep kRshNa always to herself, she observes certain religious rites, as advised by sage nArada. As part of the rites, she first gifts Him (kRshNa) to sage nArada and then tries to buy Him back by offering wealth equivalent to the weight of SrI kRshNa.
