1 – Sankara Agama vAri nidhi rajanI-kara – In my opinion, this refers to ‘SivAgamas’ which has been rendered as ‘Sankara Agama’. Accordingly, it has been translated as the ‘moon shining in the Ocean of SivAgamas’. However, it is possible to take ‘Sankara’ and ‘Agama vAri nidhi rajanI-kara’ as separate epithets. Both versions are given.

Hello,This is an excellent blog. I came searching for the giri raja suta composition , and I must say that, your blog has been very useful to me.
I was wondering if you could add the swaras for the particular kriti as well, so that a music lover would get all info regarding the composition at one place itself.
And regarding the pdf's, I can't seem to find your email id anywhere. Is it possible to put them up on a site? some where in the public domain, for the rasikas to download.
Regards,
Abhishek
Indebted and mark sincere thanks..
Is "GirirAjasuta" a telugu or a sanskrit Keerthana please?
Dr J.P. Char
Dr Char,
The whole kRti is in Sanskrit.
Best wishes,
V Govindan
Thank you very much, Mr Govindan.
Best wishes
Sanskrit
It's sanskrit, I clearly wasn't able to find a Telugu world in this, while many a word are used in telugu vocabulary, they are sanskrit in nature. Tyagayya Garu definitely would have used proper Telugu words in place of the sanskrit words. He meant it as a sanskrit song..
