Please come before me.
Give me a kiss.

Word-by-word Meaning
P O Captivator (hara) of the heart (manas) (literally mind) (manOhara) of charming (ramaNI) sItA! Please come (rAra).
A O Lotus (nIraja) Eyed (nayana)! O Brave One (dhIra)! Give (Ira) me a (oka) kiss (muddu) (muddIra)!
O Captivator of the heart of charming sItA! please come before (mungala) me.
C1 I (nE) shall dress up (kaTTeda) (literally tie) You well (bAguga) with golden (bangAru) garments (valvalu); further (mari),
after bedecking (SRngArinci) and rendering (jEsi) service (sEva), I shall embrace (kaugiTa jErceda) You;
O Captivator of the heart of charming sItA! Please come.
C2 Often (sAreku), I shall apply (peTTeda) auspicious mark (tilakamu) made of musk (kastUri) on Your forehead (nuduTanu); and
I shall bedeck (diddeda) You with nice (sAramaina) pearl (muktA) necklaces (hAramula);
O Captivator of the heart of charming sItA! Please come.

Notes –
Variations
1 – rAra –rArA : The appropriate form is 'rArA'; however, if we take into account anupallavi, where it is given as 'nIraja', 'rAra' might have been used in keeping with rules of prAsa and anuprAsa.
2 – muddIra – The appropriate form is 'muddIrA'.
3 – muktA hAramula diddeda –muktA hAramulanika diddeda : ‘ika’ (muktA hAramulanika diddeda) does not seem appropriate.
5 – nIpaiyanurAgamu pADeda –nIpaiyanurAgamu kAni

Comments -
4 – yOgamu – In some books, this has been translated as ‘fortune’; in other books, this has been translated as ‘mind fixed’; The meaning ‘mind fixed’ seems appropriate.
5 – anurAgamu – Assuming ‘pADeda’ is the correct word, ‘anurAgamu’ should be split as two words ‘anu+rAgamu’. ‘anurAgamu’ as a single word, does not make any sense in the context. However, if 'kAni' (anurAgamu kAni) is correct, then 'anurAgamu' may be taken as a single word and translated as 'deep love'.

Thank you for sharing this information. its very helpful!
Can i get notation fr this keerthana?
Dear Sri GovindanI am having the following doubts about this song
Is Kausalya addressing baby Rama in this song. If so, how far is it correct in calling Him as sItA RamaNi manohara correct. She obviously did not know that Rama was going to marry sIta. She also could not say ‘vErE gati evaru’,
On the otherhand is this sung by Thyagaraja as a maiden in love with Rama.
Regards
Govindaswamy
Sir,
If we go through all caraNas, it would be clear that this kRti is not in vAtsalya bhAva, but anurAga - nAyaki bhAva. Therefore, it is not appropriate to take that kausalya is singing to rAma as her chld.
With regards,
V Govindan
