Gist
I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping -
(a) One who has a smiling face,
(b) the stealer of my heart,
(c) the Hero ruling the Universe, and
(d) the suitor of janakI.

1. I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping –
(a) the Lord of celestials and others,
(b) the divinely beautiful One,
(c) the Lord SrI vAsudEva, and
(d) the Lord rAghava - the consort of sItA.

2. I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping -
(a) the treasure of true knowledge,
(b) One who has moon and the Sun as His eyes, and
(c) the Sun who dispels the darkness of ignorance.

3. I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping –
(a) One with blemish-less form,
(b) the destroyer of entire sins, and
(c) the Eminent One who kindly bestows (the results of) purushArtha – beginning with righteous conduct to liberation.

4. I shall propitiate the Lord well-praised by this tyAgarAja with understanding by worshipping Him constantly.

Word-by-word Meaning

P I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping -
One who has (gala vAni) a smiling (nagu) face (mOmu),
the stealer (haruni) of my (nA) heart (manas) (manO-haruni),
the Hero (SUruni) ruling (Elu) the Universe (jagamu) (jagamElu), and
the suitor (varuni) of janakI.

C1 I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping –
the Lord (dEvuni) of celestials (dEva) and others (Adi) (dEvAdi),
the divinely (divya) beautiful (sundaruni) One,
the Lord SrI vAsudEva (vAsudEvuni), and
the Lord rAghava (rAghavuni) - the consort of sItA.

C2 I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping -
the treasure (nidhini) of true knowledge (su-jnAna),
One who has moon (sOma) and the Sun (sUrya) as His eyes (lOcanuni), and
the Sun (bhaskara) (bhAskaruni) who dispels (aNacu) (literally subdues) the darkness (tamamunu) of ignorance (ajnAna).

C3 I shall, with understanding, propitiate by worshipping –
One with blemish-less (nirmala) form (AkAruni) (nirmalAkAruni),
the destroyer (haruni) of entire (nikhila) sins (agha) (nikhilAgha), and
the Eminent One (ghanuni) who kindly bestows (daya cEyu) (the results of) purushArtha – beginning with (Adi) righteous conduct (dharma) (dharmAdi) to liberation (mOkshambu).

C4 I (nEnu) shall propitiate (ArAdhintu) (nEnArAdhintu) the Auspicious (SrI) Lord well-praised (sannutuni) by this tyAgarAja with understanding (bOdhatO) by worshipping (pUjinci) Him constantly (palumAru) (literally often).
