There, the Lord tells him 'it is difficult to cast off ego'. In the second portion, Sri tyAgarAja, alternatively, asks the Lord to protect him. For which, the Lord is stated to respond 'Then You are dvaitin'.

Therefore, SrI tyAgarAja feels exasperated and asks 'what else path should I follow?' (ika - specifies this)

Regards,
V GovindanV Govindanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08711373807817392310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29597207.post-826488892312136732010-05-19T19:50:14.002+01:002010-05-19T19:50:14.002+01:00Dear Sri Govindan

In “You say that I am a dvaitin” does the ‘I’ refer to rAmA நான்(இராமன்) or நீ (தியாகராஜன்) tyAgarAjA. I have understood it as ‘rAmA tells tyAgarAja that you (tyAgarAja) are already a dwaitin as you have differentiated between yourself and ME. Is my understanding correct. If so, can you suitably change the wording to make it clear to others.
Regards
GovindaswamyGovindaswamyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16265190124878573283noreply@blogger.com
