However, I cannot say for certain which one is correct. But this does not matter much because, it does not affect the meaning materially.

Re : sEyanu talaci - this is how it is given in all the books. In the present context, it would not be appropriate to give negative meaning to 'sEyanu'. If so given, then sentence will not give any consistent meaning.

Re : dorigitivi - this is how it is given in all books. Softening of consonants in the middle of a word is not very uncommon in Telugu. Please also refer to the previous kRti 'nannu brOvakanu' where this word occurs twice.

Re : Gist - This line belongs to kRti 'paripAlaya dASarathE'. I have already amended the error.

Thanks for your suggestions,
Regards,
V GovindanV Govindanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08711373807817392310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29597207.post-4416084933940005552009-09-08T14:21:48.413+01:002009-09-08T14:21:48.413+01:00Dear Sri Govindan

Is it used in the same way here also or as appreciation ?
C2 - கோடி மன்மதர்களாயினும், ஈடாகாது; -மன்மதர்கள் உயர்திணை; ஈடாகாது அஃறிணை வினைமுற்று. இவையிரண்டும் முரண்படுகின்றன.
Can we take 'sATigA' as short form of 'sATigAru'. If so this will match with the meaning given by you as “Even a crore cupids would not equal You”.
Alternatively does sATigA mean இணையாகாத உன் எழில் ?
C5 - pada sEva sAreku sEyanu talaci - If sEyanu is taken separately does it not mean “I will not do”? Is 'sEya talaci' the correct form?
C 6 – dorigitivi does not sound right.

Gist -O Lord who is everything for dear ones and those sought refuge! -
Regards
GovindaswamyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
